The idea of founding a brand was born from two friends with a strong passion for fashion, inspired by the creations of Hedi Slimane, a leading designer and artistic director of Yves Saint Laurent.
The goal has always been to create a connection with like-minded people around the world who embraced both unconventional and traditionalist ideas. Born with the slogan "On a mission to bring Rock'N'Roll back to its former glory," we immediately sought to convey the boldness inherent in the musical style of the '70s.
The birth of the brand was not just an aesthetic endeavor, but a true cultural revolution. Passionate about Rock and rebellious at heart, we wanted to create a brand that didn’t follow the rules imposed by the mainstream fashion market. We started with small projects, experimenting with materials, cuts, and details that evoked the iconic aesthetic of '70s Rock'N'Roll: worn leather, studs, and tailoring that was both essential and bold. POCHLY’s early collections were designed for those who wanted to assert their individuality with strength and without compromise, creating a synergy between vintage style and modernity, nostalgia and innovation.
We firmly believe that fashion can be a vehicle to express a strong identity, standing in contrast to an increasingly homogenized society. Each piece of the brand was designed to tell a story, a cry of rebellion, and a tribute to the golden age of Rock, but with a contemporary and refined vision.
In a short time, POCHLY garnered a following of enthusiasts who recognized themselves in the brand’s values: boldness, authenticity, and a constant challenge to conventions.
